In today's business environment, managers are expected to get more done, with fewer resources, in a shorter period of time. Status quo doesn't work anymore. Strong leadership that's flexible and individualized does.

For more than two decades, Situational Leadership II, developed by Dr. Ken Blanchard, has provided the most comprehensive yet practical method of effectively managing people, time and resources. The manager empowered by Situational Leadership II finds there is no one best leadership style.

DESCRIPTION

In becoming Situational Leaders, managers learn to provide their people with the direction and support they need, when they need it.

Participants will develop three leadership skills- Flexibility, Diagnosis, and Contracting for Leadership Style/Partnering for Performance- and the four leadership styles- Directing, Coaching, Supporting, and Delegating.

Managers will also learn how to give work direction, praise, encourage self-reliant problem solving, and dealing effectively with performance problems.
